Missão
- Develop test specifications based on system requirements and project objectives.
- Collaborate with system requirement developers to define verification strategies.
- Analyze system requirements and test development plans.
- Identify the appropriate test baseline and software versions for verification.
- Use design risk assessments (FMEA, dependability studies, etc.) to develop effective test plans.
- Estimate test development effort and deliver test specifications according to project timelines.
- Create and maintain:
- Test scopes
- Test specifications
- Test cases
- Function Variants (FV)
- Develop scripts to support automated testing.
- Ensure complete test coverage for requirements, variants, change requests, and engineering changes.
- Manage and maintain Function Variants and FV Groups within assigned areas.
- Prepare test scopes for formal review before execution.
- Plan verification activities and determine the appropriate test objects for execution.
- Estimate execution and reporting workloads.
- Schedule and execute manual and automated test cases.
- Configure test suites and connect them to the required test environments.
- Perform test execution and document results according to project plans.
- Investigate and analyze test failures.
- Report verification status, progress, and problem reports (PRs).
- Identify issues within test cases and test environments.
- Produce final verification reports and documentation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by updating lessons learned databases.
Perfil
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience in automotive verification, validation, or systems testing.
- Strong understanding of test development methodologies and verification processes.
- Experience developing both manual and automated test cases.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating within multidisciplinary engineering teams. Preferred Experience
- Experience within one or more of the following domains:
- Automated Driving (AD)
- Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS)
- Vehicle Dynamics
- Steering Systems
- Brake Systems
- Knowledge of safety-critical system verification.
- Understanding of electrical and electronic (EE) vehicle architectures.
- Familiarity with truck systems, functions, and applications.
- Experience with verification activities across unit, subsystem, system, and complete vehicle levels.
- Knowledge of current trends in automotive testing and validation technologies.
- C or CE Driving License is considered an advantage.
