SEGULA Technologies is supporting a major utility-scale energy infrastructure project in Uzbekistan and is seeking experienced professionals to join a multidisciplinary project team.

The project environment involves complex energy infrastructure, including Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), electrical substations, high-voltage systems, civil works, mechanical systems, automation and SCADA interfaces, construction supervision, quality management, HSE, logistics, and project controls.

We are looking for experienced professionals capable of working within a multicultural EPC project environment and coordinating effectively with contractors, engineering teams, suppliers, and project stakeholders.

Electrical Supervisor (BESS & HV Power Systems)

Job Description

We are seeking a senior Electrical Supervisor to oversee electrical installation, inspection, testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities for a major energy infrastructure project.

The successful candidate must bring strong experience with LV, MV, and HV systems and ideally exposure to BESS facilities and utility-scale power infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and inspect electrical installation activities against approved drawings, specifications, standards, and project quality requirements.
• Verify installation of power transformers, switchgear, RMUs, inverters, LV/MV/HV panels, distribution boards, and protection systems.
• Monitor storage, handling, and preservation of electrical equipment.
• Supervise trenching, duct banks, underground cables, cable laying, routing, terminations, labelling, and connections.
• Inspect cable systems, cable trays, conduits, wiring, and associated installations.
• Inspect earthing, bonding, and lightning protection systems.
• Witness insulation resistance, continuity, HIPOT, transformer, CT/VT, protection relay, and primary/secondary injection tests.
• Support energization and commissioning activities.
• Review certificates, factory test reports, inspection records, technical submittals, and quality documentation.
• Implement ITP requirements and manage NCRs and corrective actions.
• Verify redline mark-ups, as-built records, completion dossiers, and punch-list closure.
• Support final electrical system handover documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical construction, inspection, testing, commissioning, or site supervision within industrial or energy projects.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in substations, transmission systems, renewable energy, BESS facilities, power plants, or comparable utility-scale infrastructure.
• Proven experience supervising LV, MV, and HV electrical installations, SCADA interfaces, and testing activities.
• Good knowledge of IEC, IEEE, NEC, and international electrical engineering standards.
• Professional proficiency in English.
