Job Description
We are looking for an ADNOC Approved Lifting Inspector with strong experience in inspection, testing, and certification of lifting equipment, lifting accessories, and lifting operations within oil & gas or industrial environments.
The candidate must be familiar with ADNOC requirements and should be capable of conducting inspections independently, preparing reports, identifying non-conformities, and ensuring full compliance with applicable safety and technical standards.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct inspection, testing, and certification of lifting equipment and lifting accessories.
Inspect cranes, hoists, forklifts, MEWPs, lifting beams, slings, shackles, hooks, chain blocks, wire ropes, and other lifting appliances.
Review lifting plans, method statements, risk assessments, and related documentation.
Verify compliance with ADNOC standards, UAE regulations, and applicable international codes.
Identify defects, unsafe conditions, and non-conformities and recommend corrective actions.
Prepare detailed inspection reports and certification documentation.
Ensure all lifting equipment is fit for use and properly maintained.
Coordinate with site teams, HSE teams, contractors, and client representatives.
Support safety compliance during lifting operations.
Maintain accurate inspection records and follow company quality procedures.
Perfil
Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant technical discipline.
Valid ADNOC approval as Lifting Inspector is mandatory.
Relevant third-party inspection certification for lifting equipment is preferred.
Lifting Equipment Inspector certification, LEEA, ASNT, or equivalent certification will be an advantage.
Strong knowledge of lifting equipment inspection standards and UAE oil & gas safety requirements.
Required Experience
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in lifting equipment inspection.
Previous experience working on ADNOC projects is mandatory.
Strong background in oil & gas, industrial, construction, or infrastructure projects.
Experience with third-party inspection companies will be highly preferred.
Skills & Competencies
Strong technical knowledge of lifting equipment and lifting accessories.
Good understanding of inspection procedures, load testing, and certification requirements.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, drawings, and lifting plans.
Strong reporting and documentation skills.
Good communication skills in English.
High attention to detail and strong safety awareness.
Ability to work independently and manage site inspections efficiently.
