Zadania

Do you enjoy working close to the physical product in dynamic projects where fast-paced prototyping meets production readiness? We are looking for a hands-on Embedded Engineer to develop and integrate mechatronics, system, and software solutions for both civilian and specialized vehicle platforms.

In this role, you will combine a pragmatic prototyping mindset with the demand for robust production standards—taking solutions from initial concept to fully integrated vehicle systems in close collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate across the entire chain—from customer requirements and function design to software implementation and system integration.

  • Develop concepts, build prototypes, and test functionality directly in vehicles and test rigs.

  • Perform technical deep dives into existing systems, debug complex issues, and ensure solutions are ready for production.

  • Handle and administer system change requests (CRs) for vehicle architectures.

  • Work on parallel projects with varying technical scopes in a high-energy, fast-iterating environment

Profil

  • Master’s degree in Mechatronics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related engineering field.

  • Proven experience in embedded software development and/or system engineering.

  • Hands-on experience with vehicle functions, electronics, or system integration.

  • Practical experience with CAN bus communication.

  • Work Authorization: Must hold a valid EU work permit or possess the legal right/visa to work in Sweden.

  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Nice to have:

  • Experience with vehicle architecture and diagnostics.

  • Knowledge of electrification / e-mobility (e.g., BEV/PHEV).

  • Background from heavy vehicle or automotive manufacturing industries.

We value attitude and technical curiosity over complete expertise. You are:

  • Eager to build broad vehicle knowledge and solve complex problems.

  • Excited to see your code come to life in test rigs and physical vehicles.

  • Comfortable working across technical domains in fast-paced development cycles.

Practical Information

  • Location: Södertälje, Sweden (3–5 days/week on-site).

  • Scope: Full-time.

  • Selection: Continuous review (löpande urval)—apply today as the position may be filled early.

Equal Opportunity Employer We are committed to diversity and welcome all qualified applicants regardless of background, gender, identity, age, disability, or origin.
