Zadania

  • Develop and maintain multi-platform PLC/automation standards, primarily using Beckhoff TwinCAT 3, covering software architecture, naming conventions, state machines, motion control, safety and diagnostics.
  • Create reusable PLC libraries, Function Blocks, POUs, GVLs and coding templates in line with IEC 61131-3.
  • Define HMI/HTML5 visualisation standards, including operator panels and alarm management.
  • Ensure compliance with Automotive OEM standards, including required OEM certifications;.
  • Develop technical documentation, coding guidelines, templates, integration guides and review checklists.
  • Use Python and JSON for automation/test tooling, configuration and data exchange.
  • Program, test and commission PLC systems for BIW automation cells, including KUKA/Fanuc robots, servo axes, conveyors and safety systems.
  • Configure EtherCAT, Profinet, Profibus and DeviceNet, including I/O mapping and hardware commissioning.
  • Support FAT/SAT at OEM plants and troubleshoot PLC, drive and network issues during commissioning and production ramp-up.
  • Perform code reviews, training and knowledge transfer across engineering teams in Germany, France, Romania and the UK.
  • Work within a SCRUM team, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, daily stand-ups, user stories and backlog management.
  • Maintain Git/TwinCAT Source Control and support continuous improvement, including TwinCAT Motion, simulation/digital twins, AI-assisted diagnostics and Industry 4.0 solutions.

Profil

  • Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics or a related field.
  • Minimum 8+ years of hands-on industrial PLC programming experience.
  • Strong expertise in Beckhoff TwinCAT 3 and/or equivalent PLC platforms using ST, FBD, LD and SFC.
  • Proven hands-on experience with OEM standards, including relevant OEM certifications.
  • Experience developing reusable PLC architectures and libraries according to IEC 61131-3.
  • Good knowledge of EtherCAT, Profinet, Profibus and DeviceNet.
  • Experience integrating KUKA/Fanuc robots via PLC.
  • Experience with safety PLCs such as TwinSAFE, Pilz PNOZ or SICK Safe.
  • Hands-on FAT/SAT, axis tuning and I/O validation experience.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, JSON and Python.
  • Automotive BIW and aerospace project experience.
  • Experience with SCADA/HMI, motion control, OPC-UA/MQTT, REST/JSON, functional safety and CE/Machinery requirements is an advantage.
  • Fluent communication in English & German (Minimum B2). French language is preferred.
