Zadania

The ICM is responsible for leading the technical development, design release, validation, industrialization, and quality assurance for exterior lighting components (headlamps, rear lamps, and signalization) throughout the complete project lifecycle. The primary goal is to ensure all scope deliverables meet the QCDP (Quality, Cost, Delivery/Timing, Performance) targets and corporate technical standards.

  • Provide, track, update, and document program performance, deliverables, and interface management entries in required engineering systems (PLM, etc.)
  • Report all project deliverables, timing status, and performance metrics directly to the Project Responsible.
  • Responsible for meeting deadline targets; escalate potential timing risks or technical deviations promptly.
  • Lead the design phase for headlamp and rear lamp components, establishing and steering weekly technical alignment meetings with suppliers.
  • Provide technical views, sections, and CAD references necessary for proper component integration into the vehicle architecture.
  • Address and resolve interface issues with surrounding vehicle components (bumpers, fenders, hood, body-in-white, wiring harness).
  • Benchmark competitor solutions regarding materials, lighting concepts, and structural designs.
  • Steering of material and part management for the responsible lighting scope.
  • Support scope definition during PORO meetings to establish and structure the Bill of Materials (BOM), applying for respective part numbers.
  • Drive end-to-end Change Management in PLM
  • Define, update, execute, and control the PIV Plan (validation plan) for all quality-driven and functional changes according to functional, optical, and durability requirements.
  • Coordinate all testing activities with designated internal and external test houses; support testing of new and modified parts.
  • Define Root Cause, short-term containment, and serial solutions for any part failures or test deviations.
  • Populate and validate APQP grids in PLM / Release Systems.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate technical standards, legal/homologation requirements, and quality targets.
  • Control costs, manage budget parameters, and support PRF items, ideas, and target achievements.
  • Support and enable the project to meet defined diversity reduction targets.
