For an urgent premium automotive project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, we are seeking experienced Automotive Senior Technicians / Vehicle Detailers to support vehicle assembly, build-quality improvement, cosmetic defect correction, and final vehicle finesse.

The objective is to deliver completed prototype and early-production vehicles to an exceptional premium show car presentation standard.

Job Description

The Automotive Senior Technician / Vehicle Detailer will support the assembly, inspection, correction, and final finishing of complete vehicles.

Working closely with senior technical teams, you will identify build and cosmetic issues, support hardware assembly, improve vehicle presentation quality, and finesse completed vehicles to show car standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support vehicle hardware assembly and reassembly activities
  • Assist with the rebuilding and completion of prototype or early-production vehicles
  • Work closely with senior automotive and prototype technicians
  • Inspect completed and partially completed vehicles for:
    • Cosmetic defects
    • Assembly imperfections
    • Visual inconsistencies
    • Fit and finish concerns
    • Surface blemishes
    • Presentation-quality issues
  • Assess vehicle build quality and identify improvement opportunities
  • Support rectification of minor build and cosmetic defects
  • Carry out detailed vehicle finesse activities to premium show car standards
  • Perform final vehicle preparation and presentation activities
  • Improve the appearance and finish of:
    • Exterior surfaces
    • Trim components
    • Visible assembly areas
    • Complete vehicle presentation
  • Support final detailing, polishing, cleaning, and visual refinement where required
  • Ensure completed vehicles achieve an exceptional premium presentation standard
  • Work independently and take initiative when resolving quality issues
  • Deliver tasks within accelerated project timelines
  • Coordinate closely with assembly, prototype, paint, quality, and technical teams
  • Maintain safe and professional working practices at all times

Profil

Qualifications

  • Proven professional experience as an Automotive Senior Technician, Vehicle Assembly Technician, Prototype Technician, Automotive Detailer, Vehicle Finesse Technician, Trim Technician, or similar role
  • Strong hands-on automotive experience
  • Demonstrated experience in vehicle assembly, reassembly, build-quality assessment, or final vehicle finishing
  • Experience identifying cosmetic and visual defects
  • Strong understanding of premium automotive fit and finish expectations
  • Experience delivering vehicles to luxury, premium, prototype, motorsport, exhibition, or show car standards is highly desirable
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to identify minor defects that may affect overall vehicle presentation
  • Strong practical problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Ability to perform under demanding deadlines and accelerated project schedules
  • Experience from automotive OEMs, prototype workshops, premium dealerships, luxury car service centres, specialist detailing centres, or vehicle customization workshops is advantageous

  • Position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
  • Candidates already located in Saudi Arabia are strongly preferred
  • Candidates capable of rapid mobilization may also be considered
  • Valid authorization to work in Saudi Arabia is required for project deployment
  • Urgent availability is essential
  • Flexibility to work night shifts when required
  • Standard project schedule approximately 45 hours per week
  • Peak periods may require up to approximately 60 hours per week
  • Initial short-term assignment with potential extension depending on project requirements
