We are looking for a Method Engineer (Serviceability Engineer) who wants to help develop the next generation of service methods, making vehicle repairs simpler, safer, and more efficient for workshops worldwide.

As a Method Engineer, you will act as the link between product development, service organizations, and workshops. You will create and verify repair methods that enable technicians to service our vehicles efficiently and correctly, with the goal of improving quality and reducing vehicle downtime.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for developing, creating, and maintaining service instructions for our vehicles. You will work both practically in a workshop environment and digitally in development tools to ensure that the methods work in real-life situations.

Your main responsibilities will include

-Developing and creating service methods for vehicle repair and maintenance

-Verifying methods both physically in workshops and virtually in CAD/PLM environments

-Identifying opportunities to reduce service time and improve workshop efficiency

-Developing solutions that minimize the need for special tools

-Updating and improving existing service documentation

-Collaborating closely with R&D teams regarding product changes and technical solutions

-Acting as a system expert within method creation and documentation

-Challenging existing ways of working and contributing with new ideas for processes and tools

We are looking for someone who has:

-Experience creating technical methods, instructions, or work descriptions

-Strong vehicle knowledge and a genuine interest in automotive technology 

-Previous experience from a vehicle workshop, service environment, or similar is highly valued

-Practical mechanical understanding and the ability to verify repair methods hands-on 

-Ability to write clear technical documentation in English 

-Experience working with CAD/PLM systems such as CATIA, Teamcenter, or similar is an advantage

We believe you have around 1–3 years of experience within method creation, automotive, technical documentation, or a similar field. However, your technical mindset, curiosity, and ability to improve existing solutions are what matter most.
