Compito

Are you passionate about turning connected vehicle data into high-value data products, analytics, and intelligent services? We are seeking a driven and skilled Data Product Engineer to join our clients team in Gothenburg, developing internal vehicle data services and operating global data products within the European market. 

Responsibilities & Key Deliveries

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable batch and streaming data pipelines for internal vehicle data services. Develop workflows for data cleansing, transformation, modeling, and preparation for analytics, reporting, and ML/AI use cases.

  • Develop and maintain data products such as vehicle data analysis services, performance dashboards, battery health reporting, and regulatory reports.

  • Operate and continuously improve EU data products throughout their lifecycle. Manage product configurations, release and upgrade workflows, validation testing, and data quality monitoring.

  • Perform product validation, functional testing, and cloud-to-database integration testing to ensure data product availability, reliability, and high quality.

  • Monitor pipeline performance, system health, and data quality. Diagnose and resolve issues across data pipelines, storage layers, and integrations.

  • Support data consumers and product users by providing technical guidance, data access configuration, and troubleshooting support. Manage product issues, change requirements, and user requests in coordination with global product, engineering, and local business teams.

  • Design and maintain data models for reporting and analytics, and build clean dashboards using Power BI. Document architectures, pipelines, workflows, and operational procedures for maintainability and knowledge sharing.

Profilo

  • 2–4 years of experience in data engineering, data product development, data platform operations, or a related technical field.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).

  • Practical experience developing and maintaining batch or streaming data pipelines and data processing workflows.

  • Good understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data quality management.

  • Proficiency in SQL and working knowledge of Python or another programming language.

  • Familiarity with data processing technologies such as Apache Spark, Kafka, Flink, or equivalent framework tools.

  • Experience with cloud data platforms, preferably AWS services (S3, Redshift, EMR, Glue) and/or Alibaba Cloud services.

  • Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, software testing, monitoring, and production support.

  • Ability to use Power BI for data analysis, reporting, and dashboard creation. Basic understanding of data security, access management, privacy, and compliance.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to bridge business, product, engineering, and international teams. Professional fluency in English. Chinese skills are meritorious.
