 We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee core People Operations and employee life-cycle management across our United States and Canadian locations. In this role, you will act as a strategic partner to leaders while managing day-to-day HR operations, talent management, and employee relations across multiple regions. You will also serve as the primary internal contact for regional compliance, mobility, and immigration processes.

Key Responsibilities

Core HR Management
: Lead day-to-day HR operations, including onboarding, performance management, employee engagement, offboarding, and benefits administration across regional teams.

Employee Relations:
Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, resolving workplace concerns while maintaining regional labor standards and company culture.

Strategic projects
: Lead strategic and HR process improvement projects.

Cross-Border Immigration & Mobility
: Oversee visa processing and work authorizations for the US and Canada (e.g., TN, H-1B, L-1, Intra-Company Transfers, Express Entry) in partnership with external legal counsel.

Regional Compliance
: Maintain and update employee handbooks and policies, ensuring strict adherence to US federal/state laws (FLSA, FMLA) and Canadian federal/provincial employment standards.

Vendor & Partner Management:
Coordinate with external immigration counsel, benefits brokers, and local vendors to support regional operations.

Multi-Region Payroll & Benefits Support
: Collaborate with payroll teams to address multi-jurisdictional tax, leave, and compensation requirements.

Profilo

Experience: 5+ years of generalist HR management experience, including multi-state or multi-region oversight (US and Canada preferred).

Skills:
Solid understanding of general US and Canadian employment regulations and basic familiarity with regional work visa and immigration processes.

Certifications (Preferred)
: SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP, PHR, or CRHA (Canada).

Communication
: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and navigate multi-region organizational structures.
