The Program Director will be responsible for the operational, administrative, and financial management of the Augmented Engineering Center of Excellence (AECoE) in Portugal. This role will focus on securing the project foundation, ensuring strict compliance with European funding rules and coordinating the ramp-up of the Portuguese engineering footprint. This requires a proven track record in managing complex, multi-partner R&D programs and public funding frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning & Governance: Define and manage the global project timeline, closely tracking critical path dependencies.
• Funding & Administrative Compliance: Oversee financial reporting, expense tracking, and milestone verification in strict accordance with Portugal 2030 and COMPETE 2030 regulatory guidelines.
• Hiring & Team Mobilization: Lead the recruitment strategy while leverage support and expertise transfer from SEGULA Group globally.
• Consortium Interface: Serve as the primary administrative point of contact for the academic partner and national funding bodies.

Required Profile & Competencies

• Experience: 8–10 years of solid experience in Program Management or R&D leadership.
• Subsidy Management: Demonstrated experience in successfully managing large-scale subsidized projects (e.g., PT2020, PT2030, COMPETE, Horizon Europe).
• Soft Skills: Executive leadership, administrative rigor, and the ability to drive alignment across cross-functional and multinational teams.
• Languages: Fluent English.
