SEGULA Technologies is supporting a major utility-scale energy infrastructure project in Uzbekistan and is seeking experienced professionals to join a multidisciplinary project team.

The project environment involves complex energy infrastructure, including Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), electrical substations, high-voltage systems, civil works, mechanical systems, automation and SCADA interfaces, construction supervision, quality management, HSE, logistics, and project controls.

We are looking for experienced professionals capable of working within a multicultural EPC project environment and coordinating effectively with contractors, engineering teams, suppliers, and project stakeholders.

Site Manager (BESS & Power Infrastructure)

Job Description

We are seeking a senior Site Manager to lead multidisciplinary construction supervision and site coordination activities for a major utility-scale energy infrastructure project.

The role requires proven leadership of complex EPC construction interfaces and strong experience in large power, BESS, substation, or comparable energy infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all site supervision activities.
• Monitor and control construction progress.
• Identify schedule deviations, risks, and potential delays.
• Ensure implementation of the approved Quality Management Plan and inspection requirements.
• Control construction documentation and ensure only approved technical information is used on site.
• Support resolution of technical, contractual, and construction-related issues.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
• Attend management and coordination meetings and track agreed actions.
• Coordinate interfaces between Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Commissioning teams.
• Verify compliance with designs, specifications, contractual requirements, and applicable standards.
• Review as-built documentation, quality records, material certificates, testing results, and O&M records.
• Witness field and laboratory tests when required.
• Support smooth handover between construction and commissioning phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Construction Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in construction supervision, site management, or project execution within industrial, power, transmission, renewable energy, or EPC projects.
• Proven experience on utility-scale BESS, high-voltage substations, power plants, or comparable energy infrastructure.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary construction teams and EPC contractor interfaces.
• Strong knowledge of construction management, QA/QC, commissioning coordination, and project controls.
• Professional proficiency in English.
