Fullstack / Backend Software Engineer – Connected Vehicle & B2B Data Platform

Are you ready to shape the next generation of connected vehicle data platforms and B2B services? We are seeking a driven and experienced Software Engineer to take end-to-end ownership in building secure, scalable, and high-performing microservices and management portals.

In this role, you will develop and maintain backend services, microservices, and REST APIs for external vehicle data and B2B platform services. You will build core platform capabilities across authentication, authorization, tenant and user management, vehicle management, subscriptions, entitlements, usage metering, billing support, and service monitoring.

Working closely with data engineers, product owners, and architects, you will translate business requirements into scalable and user-friendly technical solutions. You will participate in the full software development lifecycle—from solution design and API contracts to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, production deployment, and continuous improvement.

• Design, build, and maintain microservices, REST APIs, and secure integration patterns to expose vehicle data products to external customers, partners, and third-party platforms.

• Implement features for OAuth 2.0/OIDC, system-to-system authentication, tenant management, user management, subscriptions, entitlements, and usage metering.

• Develop and maintain the platform management portal as well as customer-facing web pages for service onboarding, API documentation, data product discovery, subscription management, usage visibility, and service status.

• Integrate internal data pipelines into secure external services and customer-facing applications. Support integrations with external partner platforms and cloud environments (such as AWS and Alibaba Cloud).

• Implement logging, monitoring, alerting, tracing, and health checks across APIs, microservices, frontends, and platform integrations. Ensure software quality via unit, integration, API, UI, and regression testing.

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing workflows, and release verification. Troubleshoot complex issues across backend, frontend, APIs, deployments, and cloud environments. Guide external customer and partner onboarding with API documentation and secure access setup.

• 3–5 years of professional experience in software engineering, backend development, full-stack development, or a related field.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.

• Strong programming experience in at least one of the following: Java, Python, Go, or Node.js. Solid understanding of microservice architecture, service boundaries, API contracts, integration patterns, and distributed systems.

• Practical experience with authentication and authorization standards, preferably OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and system-to-system integration patterns.

• Experience developing or maintaining frontend applications using modern web technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js, along with TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

• Hands-on experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases. Familiarity with cloud platforms (preferably AWS, including services such as API Gateway, Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, or equivalent).

• Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing (unit, integration, API, UI, regression), and observability tools.

• Language: Professional fluency in English (both spoken and written).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in automotive B2B domain or data sharing products (e.g., Data Act compliance), subscription-based services, tenant management, customer portals, or data products.

• Experience integrating with external platforms or cloud environments such as Alibaba Cloud or Azure.
