Job Overview: 1D Thermal / Thermo-Fluid Simulation Engineer

Experience: 1–3 Years | Industry: Automotive / EV

Role & Responsibility

• Hands-on experience in 1D thermal/thermo-fluid system simulation for automotive powertrain and vehicle thermal management.
• Working knowledge of GT-SUITE for cooling, lubrication, HVAC, heat exchangers, pumps, valves, and radiators.
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink for system-level modeling and simulation.
• Develop and analyze engine/EV cooling circuits and thermal management system models.
• Perform steady-state and transient simulations, calibration, correlation, validation, sensitivity analysis, and DOE using test data.
• Support thermal performance optimization and simulation-based engineering recommendations.
• Collaborate with powertrain, vehicle, controls, and testing teams.
• Good understanding of thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and automotive thermal systems.
