SAP and Material Flow
Job Description
We are looking for an Internal Logistics & PFEP Specialist to independently assess and improve material flows within a manufacturing plant.
The consultant will develop the PFEP, review line-feeding and warehouse processes and support the correction of SAP logistics and planning parameters.
Main Responsibilities
- Assess internal logistics and material-flow processes.
- Map material movement from warehouse to point of use.
- Segment parts according to flow and replenishment behaviour.
- Develop and maintain the PFEP database.
- Define supply modes, replenishment frequencies and pull signals.
- Review Kanban, kitting and line-side replenishment methods.
- Define packaging types, pack quantities and storage locations.
- Review warehouse and logistics-area layouts.
- Identify opportunities to optimize material flows.
- Review SAP planning and logistics parameters.
- Correct or update minimum stock, lot sizes, lead times and safety stock.
- Validate SAP data against actual plant practices.
- Facilitate plant-user reviews and obtain approval.
Profil
Qualifications
- Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
- Between 6 and 10 years of directly relevant experience.
- Strong manufacturing logistics and material-flow experience.
- Practical experience developing or maintaining a PFEP.
- SAP MM, WM or EWM experience.
- Understanding of packaging, replenishment and inventory parameters.
- AutoCAD capability preferred.
- Strong workshop, documentation and data-validation skills.
- Professional English and Arabic communication skills.
