Mission
Key Responsibilities
SAP Master Data Management: Directly create, update, and audit routing sheets, operational sequences, and standard cycle times (setup, labor, and machine execution times) within the SAP PP module.
Shop-Floor Validation (Gemba Walks): Conduct regular floor audits to verify that physical assembly steps, cycle times, and operational methods match system routings and engineering documentation.
Work Center & Resource Allocation: Assign and configure Work Centers (CR01/CR02), defining capacity category, standard values, and activity types for accurate capacity planning and scheduling.
Engineering Change Management (ECO/ECN): Lead the implementation of Engineering Change Orders in SAP, ensuring that design modifications, updated BOMs, and new process steps are reflected in routings prior to production release.
Costing & Financial Alignment: Collaborate directly with Product Costing and Management Accounting teams to ensure correct activity rates and standard times are assigned for accurate product cost absorption (CO-PC).
Line Balancing & Process Optimization: Partner with Industrial Engineering to translate line balancing studies and time & motion analyses into updated standard operational times in the system.
Discrepancy Resolution & Order Support: Investigate and resolve variance root causes on Work Orders (WOs) caused by incorrect operation steps, wrong work center assignments, or outdated cycle times.
Continuous Improvement & KPIs: Monitor routing accuracy metrics, identify operational bottlenecks, and drive standardization initiatives to eliminate non-value-added steps in SAP sequences.
Profil
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience: 2 to 3+ years of hands-on experience in process engineering, methods & time studies, or production planning within a manufacturing environment.
SAP Expertise (Required): Proven operational proficiency in SAP PP (Production Planning), specifically in managing routings, Work Centers, and Bill of Materials (BOM) linkages (e.g., transactions CA01/CA02/CA03, CR01/CR02).
Technical Skills: Strong background in line balancing, time & motion studies, and operational sequencing.
Languages: Advanced English
