We are looking for a Software Test Engineer to join an exciting assignment within the automotive industry.

In this role, you will work with software testing and requirements traceability in a development environment focused on delivering high-quality software for advanced vehicle systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and document software tests.
• Develop and maintain test cases.
• Analyze test results and report defects.
• Support requirements traceability by ensuring that software requirements are linked to implementation and verification activities.
• Collaborate closely with software developers, system engineers and other stakeholders to ensure software quality throughout the development process.

Qualifications

• M.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in software development, software testing or verification.
• Experience working with software testing methodologies.
• Understanding of requirements management and requirements traceability.
• Experience from the automotive industry is highly valued.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Knowledge of C# & C
  
  
• Previous experience from Volvo Group or Volvo Cars is a must.
