Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Civil Site Coordination Engineer to support the development of a major Supplier Park and industrial facilities program in Saudi Arabia.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating civil construction activities across multiple stakeholders, contractors, consultants, utility interfaces, and site work packages. The role requires strong hands-on experience in site execution, multidisciplinary coordination, contractor management, and resolution of construction interfaces in complex industrial or large-scale development projects.
This is a 100% onsite position in KAEC, Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate all civil and infrastructure activities across the Supplier Park development site.
- Act as a key interface between the project team, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, utility providers, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor civil construction activities to ensure alignment with approved drawings, specifications, project requirements, schedules, and quality standards.
- Coordinate site activities related to earthworks, grading, roads, drainage, underground utilities, foundations, structural works, and external infrastructure.
- Review construction drawings, shop drawings, method statements, technical submittals, and site coordination requirements.
- Identify and resolve civil site clashes, construction constraints, interface issues, and discrepancies between design and actual site conditions.
- Coordinate civil interfaces with MEP, utilities, architectural, structural, and industrial facility requirements.
- Support the sequencing and prioritization of site works to maintain project progress and avoid delays.
- Participate in site coordination meetings, technical workshops, progress reviews, and contractor meetings.
- Track site progress and highlight critical issues, delays, risks, and required corrective actions.
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure timely closure of site observations and technical issues.
- Coordinate access requirements, work fronts, temporary works, logistics interfaces, and construction dependencies.
- Support inspections and ensure works are executed in accordance with approved documentation and applicable standards.
- Review and follow up on RFIs, technical queries, NCRs, punch lists, and site instructions.
- Ensure proper coordination between base-build infrastructure and individual supplier or tenant facility requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of site issues, decisions, actions, and progress.
- Support project management in reporting, risk identification, interface management, and construction planning.
Profil
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Approximately 10–15 years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong experience in civil construction, site coordination, and multidisciplinary interface management.
- Proven experience on large-scale projects such as:
- Industrial developments
- Automotive manufacturing facilities
- Supplier parks
- Logistics parks
- Large infrastructure projects
- Manufacturing plants
- Major mixed-use or complex development projects
- Strong knowledge of civil works, infrastructure, structural interfaces, underground utilities, roads, drainage, and site development activities.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating contractors, consultants, and multiple project stakeholders.
- Ability to read and interpret civil, structural, infrastructure, and multidisciplinary construction drawings.
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and site execution constraints.
- Excellent problem-solving, coordination, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Proficiency in standard project documentation and reporting tools.
Preferred Profile
- Candidates currently based in Saudi Arabia will be given preference.
- Saudi nationals are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Other nationalities with relevant experience are also welcome.
- Previous experience in automotive, industrial, manufacturing, or supplier park developments is highly desirable.
- Candidates with direct experience in complex greenfield developments and multi-contractor environments will be strongly preferred.
- Availability to work 100% onsite in KAEC is mandatory.
