This is a great opportunity to kick-start your career as a Full Stack developer, joining a real technology transformation project for a digital platform serving the automotive industrial sector, deployed on a cloud-native architecture on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain frontend (Angular) and backend (NestJS/Node.js) features under the guidance of the technical team;
Support database optimization and query improvement efforts alongside more senior team members.
Help improve the application's data flows;
Contribute to different functional modules of the project, learning from the team's architecture decisions along the way;
Support API standardization and middleware integration tasks;
Progressively apply code quality, modularity, and maintainability best practices.
Profil
Requirements:
Degree in Computer Engineering, Software Development, or a related field (recent graduates welcome);
1-3 years of Full Stack development experience, with knowledge of Angular and/or NestJS/Node.js (academic projects or internships count);
Basic knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL or similar);
Interest in learning cloud architectures (GCP) and containerization tools (Docker);
Eagerness to learn, proactivity, and strong teamwork skills;
Full professional fluency in English (all corporate reporting, project governance, and documentation are strictly in English);
Based in or near Aveiro, or available to relocate and work on-site.
Nice to have:
Basic knowledge of testing (unit, integration)
Personal or academic projects related to Full Stack development
Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes or cloud architectures
Knowledge of Portuguese, Spanish, or French to smooth local collaboration at the Aveiro plant.
