Mission
SEGULA Technologies, a global leader in high-value Engineering and Consulting services with over 15,000 engineers across more than 30 countries, is looking for a Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our project team based in Aveiro, Portugal with work on-site. You will join a transformation and industrialization project for a digital platform serving the automotive industrial sector, evolving an existing solution toward a global cloud-native architecture deployed on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Responsibilities: Manage, configure, and maintain the platform's multi-environment cloud infrastructure (DEV, UAT, PROD) deployed on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Design, implement, and optimize fully automated Git-based CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) for automatic builds, automated release management, and continuous delivery across environments. Oversee containerized deployment automation, configuration, and auto-scaling utilizing Docker and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE). Integrate static code analysis tools (such as SonarQube) into the pipelines, enforcing automated quality gates for code coverage, code smells, and vulnerabilities. Set up and manage continuous performance monitoring, centralized logging, and observability dashboards to meet enterprise standards using tools like Zabbix and dynaTrace. Work as a fully integrated delivery stream in daily collaboration with Corporate IT, Network Infrastructure, and Cybersecurity teams to ensure seamless token validations, repository access, and sandbox readiness.
Profil
Requirements: Degree in Computer Engineering, Software Development, or a related field. Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or SRE managing production environments on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Strong experience building and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Git-based tools. Solid expertise in containerization (Docker) and Kubernetes orchestration via Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE). Experience implementing static code analysis (SonarQube) and enforcing deployment quality gates. Practical knowledge of infrastructure monitoring and system observability tools, specifically Zabbix or dynaTrace. Advanced understanding of Cloud Security, secure networking, and IAM policy management. Demonstrated ability to work closely with external client stakeholders and corporate IT departments to coordinate complex system authorizations. Full professional fluency in English (all corporate reporting, project governance, and documentation are strictly in English). Based in or near Aveiro, or available to relocate and work on-site Nice to have: Google Cloud certifications (such as Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer or Professional Enterprise Architect). Experience implementing DevOps frameworks, secure environments, and temporary local structures specifically for industrial platform scale-ups or automotive environments. Familiarity with corporate identity migrations (Microsoft Entra ID) and external integration testing (SAP sandbox endpoints) in collaboration with third-party networks. Familiarity with API Gateway architectures (Apigee) or enterprise Event Brokers (Solace) from an infrastructure perspective. Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform. Knowledge of Portuguese, Spanish, or French to smooth local collaboration at the Aveiro plant.
