For a power generation IPP project in Dubai, UAE, we are mobilizing an Owner’s Engineer team to support EPC design review, construction supervision, site inspection, testing, commissioning, COD readiness, and warranty-period follow-up.
We are looking for experienced professionals with strong EPC, Owner’s Engineer, consultant-side, power generation, utilities, waste-to-energy, biogas, landfill gas, thermal power, or industrial project experience.
Job DescriptionWe are looking for an I&C Site Inspector to inspect instrumentation, control, automation, cabling, calibration, loop checking, and commissioning support activities for a confidential power generation IPP project in Dubai.
Key responsibilities include:
· Inspect installation of instruments, junction boxes, control panels, cable trays, impulse lines, tubing, and I&C cabling.
· Verify instrument calibration, tagging, wiring, termination, loop folders, and inspection records.
· Review approved drawings, ITPs, method statements, instrument datasheets, loop diagrams, and test procedures.
· Witness calibration, loop checks, functional checks, SAT, and control system interface testing.
· Raise observations, NCRs, and punch list items where required.
· Coordinate with the Senior I&C Engineer, Electrical team, Commissioning Engineer, QA/QC team, and EPC Contractor.
· Maintain inspection records, daily reports, and quality documentation.
Profil
· Diploma or degree in Instrumentation, Control, Electrical, Electronics, Automation, or related discipline.
· Minimum 7 years of I&C inspection experience.
· Experience in power, utilities, industrial plants, oil & gas, waste-to-energy, or EPC projects.
· Strong knowledge of field instrumentation, control systems, calibration, loop checking, and QA/QC documentation.
· UAE / GCC experience is preferred.
