Location: Remote / Hybrid with travel to KSA
Assignment Duration: 1 year + 1 year extension
Travel Requirement: Travel to KSA once every 6 months for approximately 2 weeks

Job Description
We are looking for experienced Senior HMI Engineers to support the development of advanced automotive digital user interfaces.
The role requires strong hands-on expertise in HMI product development, UX strategy, wireframing, visual design, system architecture, and Agile delivery. The selected candidates will collaborate with global engineering teams, design stakeholders, software teams, and product owners to deliver high-quality digital cockpit and connected vehicle experiences.
This is a long-term assignment with remote or hybrid working arrangements and periodic travel to KSA.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver advanced user interfaces for automotive infotainment systems, instrument clusters, head-up displays, and connected mobile applications.
- Support end-to-end HMI product development from concept definition to production delivery.
- Develop user journeys, interaction flows, wireframes, and visual design requirements.
- Support UX strategy definition and translate business/customer needs into HMI features.
- Collaborate with software, systems, UX/UI, validation, design, and product teams to ensure proper HMI implementation.
- Support system architecture activities related to infotainment, digital cockpit, cluster, HUD, and connected applications.
- Work in Agile delivery environments, supporting backlog refinement, sprint planning, feature tracking, and delivery follow-up.
- Prepare and review HMI specifications, functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Participate in design reviews, technical reviews, customer discussions, and program meetings.
- Ensure the delivered HMI experience meets premium automotive usability, performance, quality, and brand expectations.
- Identify technical issues, dependencies, and risks and coordinate resolution with cross-functional teams.
- Support documentation, reporting, and continuous improvement of HMI development processes.
Profil
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Human-Computer Interaction, UX Design, Automotive Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in automotive HMI, digital cockpit, infotainment, instrument cluster, head-up display, or connected vehicle applications.
- Strong hands-on experience in HMI product development and UX/UI delivery.
- Good knowledge of UX strategy, wireframing, visual design, requirements management, and system architecture.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Ability to work with global engineering teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
- Arabic language is mandatory.

Preferred Profile
- Candidates from Tunisia or Morocco are preferred.
- Previous experience with automotive OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, or EV programs.
- Familiarity with tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, Jira, Confluence, or similar UX/product management tools.
- Experience working in multicultural and distributed engineering environments.
- Availability for long-term assignment and periodic travel to KSA.
