Mission
Perform chemical processing activities to support aerospace manufacturing requirements.
Conduct painting, metal etching, metal polishing, heat treating, engraving, shot peening, sandblasting, wire assembly/fabrication, decal application, metalcal application, and other metal processing operations.
Set up, support, and produce high-quality products in accordance with engineering, quality, and production requirements.
Set up and test electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic assemblies and components.
Perform spray and brush priming operations.
Complete hand-finishing activities, including blending adjacent surfaces to engineering tolerances and performing transition work on aircraft components.
Operate chemical processing tanks and related equipment to support selective metal removal, surface preparation, and coating processes.
Prepare and maintain treating solutions by adding chemical compounds according to laboratory specifications and process requirements.
Develop and maintain proper equipment setups, including processing time, voltage, amperage, and block-off configurations.
Perform laser scribing operations in accordance with engineering and manufacturing requirements.
Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, technique sheets, work orders, specifications, and engineering documentation.
Utilize precision measuring equipment, including calipers, scales, and electronic measurement tools, to verify dimensions and quality standards.
Perform first article inspections and in-process inspections of fabricated parts and assemblies.
Document and report non-conforming conditions according to company procedures.
Complete Factory Data Acquisition (FDAQ) requirements and maintain accurate production records.
Perform routine preventive maintenance on machines and equipment, including filter replacement and lubrication checks.
Move products and materials throughout the manufacturing area using approved equipment and procedures.
Maintain required certifications, qualifications, licenses, and permits.
Ensure compliance with quality, safety, FOD, Hazmat, OSHA, AS9100, Nadcap, and company process requirements.
Support continuous production flow by assisting and training team members as needed.
Profil
- Need workers with 5+ years of Chemical processing and Laser Scribe experience
- Selected workers will work 2nd shift primarily. However, must be ready to work any shift/OT/weekends as needed
- Must be able to stand and work for entire 8 hr. shift
- Must be able to start within 2 weeks after offer acceptance
- Must clear the background checks
- Need to do Boeing re-hire checks before offer acceptance if your candidate was a former Boeing worker
