Position Details
Type of Contract: Contract to Hire
Shifts Available: 1st Shift, 2nd Shift, or Weekend Shift
Per Diem: Weekly per diem available for candidates living 150+ miles from the work location
Job Summary
A&P Mechanics play a critical role in maintaining the safety, reliability, and efficiency of customer aircraft. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, inspections, repairs, installations, and scheduled maintenance while ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, install, and maintain aircraft systems and components
Perform maintenance in accordance with technical manuals, FAA regulations, and company procedures
Accurately document all completed work and maintenance activities
Follow all safety procedures and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) policies
Participate in 5S activities to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment
Operate ground support equipment as required
Perform mechanical and electrical component removals and installations
Provide off-site maintenance support when required
Assist with aircraft fueling, engine removals/installations, and component repairs
Qualifications
Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License preferred/required
Strong troubleshooting and aircraft maintenance experience
Ability to interpret maintenance manuals and technical documentation
Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
Profil
Minimum Qualifications
Valid FAA A&P License required
Minimum 4–5 years of aircraft maintenance experience
Corporate and commercial aircraft experience preferred
Ability to interpret mechanical engineering drawings
Must own basic hand tools and maintain tool inventory
Basic PC skills required
Ability to obtain Ground Support Equipment qualifications and SIDA badge (if applicable)
Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Must be a U.S. Citizen or authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
