  • Support preliminary and detailed structural sizing, material/hardware selection, and design optimization.
  • Review and validate partner/supplier stress analyses, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
  • Analyze structural interfaces, including wing-to-fuselage attachments and splices.
  • Support certification activities, ground/flight testing, and entry-into-service.
  • Investigate in-service structural issues, repairs, and modifications and support corrective actions.
  • Identify weight-saving opportunities while ensuring structural integrity and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with IPDTs, suppliers, partners, and cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Provide technical guidance and, depending on experience, lead or mentor engineers.

Profile

Qualifications:

  • University degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of relevant Stress Engineering experience.
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft structures, FEA/FEM, and structural analysis.
  • Experience with static strength, fatigue, and damage tolerance.
  • Knowledge of metallic and composite structures and aircraft certification requirements.
  • Familiarity with aircraft systems/structures such as landing gear, flight controls, high-lift systems, hydraulics, and ducting.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent English is mandatory; French is an asset.
