Mission

We are looking for an engaged System Safety Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be a key player in combining functional safety and cybersecurity to build modern, reliable electrical and electronic (E/E) architectures across our product development lifecycle.

Work tasks include: 

  • Support functional safety activities in accordance with ISO 26262 across vehicle and platform development.

  • Perform and contribute to Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment (HARA) and support Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA) activities in collaboration with cybersecurity teams.

  • Contribute to the development of Functional Safety Concepts (FSC) and Technical Safety Concepts (TSC).

  • Participate in safety analyses such as FMEA and FTA to identify and mitigate system risks.

  • Support verification and review of safety work products and ensure traceability of safety requirements.

  • Collaborate closely with system architects, software and hardware engineers, cybersecurity specialists, and suppliers.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of safety processes, methods, and engineering practices.

    • Profile

    You are an analytical engineer with an interest in functional safety and secure system development. You enjoy working collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and are motivated to develop your expertise in safety-critical automotive systems.

    • Education: B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.

    • Experience: Hands-on experience working with automotive embedded systems or E/E architecture, minimum of 10 years experience. 

    • Standards & Methods:

      • Knowledge of ISO 26262 and practical experience supporting functional safety activities.

      • Experience participating in or supporting HARA activities.

      • Basic understanding or exposure to TARA and the interaction between functional safety and cybersecurity.

      • Familiarity with safety concepts such as FSC, TSC, FMEA, and FTA.

    • Systems Engineering: Understanding of automotive software development and systems engineering principles.

    • Languages: Fluency in English (written and spoken).
