About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Planning Manager – Construction to provide programme governance and schedule assurance across a complex multi-site automotive industrial development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain and govern the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).

  • Integrate design, procurement, construction, utilities, commissioning and handover schedules.

  • Validate contractor and consultant schedules against contractual milestones.

  • Monitor critical paths and programme interfaces.

  • Establish project planning standards and schedule-control processes.

  • Review recovery programmes and mitigation plans.

  • Monitor physical progress and independently validate reported progress.

  • Analyse KPIs, milestones, schedule trends and forecast completion.

  • Perform schedule-risk assessments.

  • Undertake Time Impact Analysis (TIA) for changes and delays.

  • Review EOT submissions and programme-related claims.

  • Coordinate design, procurement, utilities and construction interfaces.

  • Integrate testing, commissioning and phased handover into the master programme.

  • Prepare executive planning dashboards and management reports.

Profile

Qualifications & Experience

  • Engineering degree and SCE eligibility/approval.

  • Minimum 15 years of relevant planning/project-controls experience.

  • Extensive experience on major construction, industrial or manufacturing projects.

  • Expert-level Primavera P6 and integrated master scheduling capability.

  • Strong TIA, EOT, claims and delay-analysis experience.

  • Experience managing design-to-construction and commissioning interfaces.

  • PMP / RMP / MCIOB or equivalent credentials strongly preferred.
