Mission

Role Overview

We are looking for an energetic and tech-savvy IT Intern to join our IT Service & Infrastructure team. In this hands-on role, you will provide technical support to local and remote employees, assist with IT hardware and software deployment, and gain real-world exposure to enterprise IT management within a high-tech engineering environment.

This internship is ideal for a computer science or IT student eager to apply academic knowledge to corporate IT infrastructure, networks, and technical helpdesk operations.

Key Responsibilities


1. IT Helpdesk & End-User Support

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee IT inquiries via ticketing systems, email, and phone.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic network issues for local and remote staff (Windows/macOS environments).
  • Assist with user account creation, access management, and password resets in Active Directory / Microsoft 365.
2. Hardware & Systems Deployment
  • Support the setup, imaging, configuration, and deployment of laptops, desktops, monitors, and peripherals for new hires.
  • Help maintain physical and virtual IT inventory records (workstations, licenses, accessories).
  • Assist with basic software installations, including specialized engineering tools (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, where applicable).
3. Network & Infrastructure Assistance
  • Support local network maintenance, Wi-Fi connectivity checks, and conference room AV setup.
  • Assist IT administrators with basic server, firewall, or cloud system maintenance tasks (e.g., Azure / AWS basic management).
  • Participate in routine system back-ups and data security health checks.
4. IT Documentation & Special Projects
  • Update internal IT knowledge base articles, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and user guides.
  • Assist in rolling out new IT security policies, software upgrades, or company-wide technology initiatives.

Profile

Qualifications & SkillsRequirements


  • Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, System Administration, or a related field.
  • Technical Knowledge:

    Solid understanding of PC hardware, operating systems (Windows 10/11, macOS), and basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, Wi-Fi).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Active Directory).
  • Languages: Proficiency in English (spoken and written); additional local languages (e.g., French, Spanish, German) are a plus.
