Mission

We are seeking an experienced System Verification Engineer to lead the integration, testing, and validation of complex commercial vehicle systems. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical, electronic, and software systems operate reliably, perform according to design specifications, and comply with international industry standards. You will utilize advanced diagnostic equipment, perform root cause analysis on embedded systems, and validate network protocols across physical and data bus environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • System Verification Strategy: Plan, design, and execute comprehensive verification test suites to validate complex vehicle systems and software applications.

  • Network & Signal Analysis: Analyze physical and data bus signals using CAN and ISO protocols, leveraging specialized measuring equipment and diagnostic loggers.

  • Diagnostics & Root Cause Analysis: Perform hands-on troubleshooting and root cause analysis on embedded automotive electrical, electronic, and software systems.

  • Compliance & Standards Verification: Ensure vehicle systems meet physical, electrical, and EMC requirements in alignment with international ISO and SAE standards.

  • Test Tooling & Automation: Utilize advanced hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) environments, monitoring tools, and diagnostic software to streamline test execution and failure tracking.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with systems, software, and hardware design teams to report anomalies, track fixes, and verify system-level resolutions.

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in root cause analysis and technical troubleshooting within commercial vehicle or automotive environments.

Technical Knowledge & Skills

  • Verification Methodologies: Deep understanding of systematic verification processes, test case creation, trace-ability, and validation lifecycles.

  • Protocols & Communication: In-depth knowledge of commercial vehicle communication protocols (CAN bus, ISO protocols, SAE J1939) and bus-monitoring equipment.

  • Diagnostic & Test Tools: Proficiency with industry-standard automotive diagnostic tools, oscilloscopes, and software testing environments.

  • Commercial Vehicle Environment: Thorough understanding of the physical, electrical, and EMC parameters unique to commercial heavy-duty vehicles.

  • Standards Compliance: Familiarity with international Environmental, Mechanical, Electrical, and EMC standards according to ISO and SAE specifications.
