Mission

Key Responsibilities


  • Design & Release: Utilize NX Software (2D & 3D) to design, modify, and release assigned automotive commodities and components.
  • Testing & Validation: Request, authorize, and evaluate required functional, durability, and compliance testing (DVP&R) in assembly plants.
  • Supplier & Plant Support: Coordinate DFMEAs/PFMEAs with suppliers, manage Change Notices, and support Pilot/Pre-series events at assembly plants.
  • Problem Solving: Analyze and resolve component-related failures using advanced problem-management processes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Propose, validate, and execute cost-reduction strategies and benchmark performance, weight, and cost efficiencies.



Profile

Basic Qualifications:


  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automotive, Electro-mechanical, or related) – Must be graduated/licensed
  • Experience: More than 5 years of experience in the automotive industry as a Product Engineer or product development-related role.
  • Software: Solid skills in computer-aided design, specifically NX and/or CATIA.
  • Languages: Fluent English (mandatory) for professional, technical, and conversational use.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Solid knowledge of Internal Combustion Engines, vehicle systems, thermodynamics, and manufacturing/assembly processes.
  • Familiarity with creating and updating DFMEA/PFMEA documentation.
  • Strong communication, planning, and presentation skills.
  • DFSS (Design for Six Sigma) or Reactive Green Belt / Black Belt certifications are a definite plus.
