Mission
We are seeking a highly analytical Data Analyst with a solid understanding of automotive systems and components to support engineering, design, and change management activities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with vehicle architecture including systems such as propshafts, IP consoles, and overall vehicle integration and will provide data-driven insights to enhance performance, efficiency, and decision-making across projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze engineering and manufacturing data related to vehicle systems and components.
- Support Engineering Change Management (ECM) by maintaining accurate data and impact analyses.
- Develop, maintain, and automate reports and dashboards using Excel (advanced formulas, macros) and Power BI.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
- Create and maintain data models to support cost, weight, and performance analysis.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across multiple sources and systems.
- Prepare visual reports and summaries for technical and management reviews.
Profile
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in an automotive or engineering environment.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, ideally including propshafts, IP console, closures, or chassis components.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, macros, VBA).
- Experience in Power BI for data visualization and performance dashboards.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable working remotely in an English-speaking, global environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with engineering change processes and vehicle BOM data.
- Knowledge of Teamcenter, PLM, or automotive data management systems.
- Ability to communicate complex technical data in a clear, concise way.
