Mission
- Inspection of rail vehicles in accordance with inspection procedures
- Implementation of a vehicle’s electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic functions
- Documentation of work results
- Maintenance of logs and fault lists
- Analysis of faults based on circuit diagrams, functional diagrams, specifications, and technical drawings
- Troubleshooting complex faults, e.g., analysis involving pneumatics, electrical systems, software, and climate control
- Collaboration on the continuous optimization of commissioning processes
Profile
- Completed training as an electronics technician with further training as an electrical engineer or a comparable qualification
- Experience working with electrically active assemblies and devices
- Proficiency in adhering to relevant safety and EHS regulations
- Ability to operate complex systems independently after receiving instruction
- Willingness to work in confined spaces (e.g., control cabinets, equipment containers) as well as at heights of up to 4 m (e.g., roof access platforms)
- Flexibility and resilience, particularly when changing body positions and occasionally working outdoors
- Willingness to work early and late shifts as well as on Saturdays
