Supply Chain Agent - Montreal
Job Description
Build and manage global strategic supplier relationships (commercial and contractual).
Develop new supply sources and strategic partnerships.
Define and execute negotiation strategies.
Lead commodity development projects, including business case preparation.
Develop and execute commodity strategies; report progress to senior management.
Identify and deliver cost reduction opportunities.
Build and maintain internal and external networks.
Serve as the primary interface for suppliers on new business.
Support sites and business units with sourcing strategies.
Lead supplier claim negotiations related to production issues.
Support business units in enforcing contractual remedies.
Lead supplier contract negotiations.
Ensure contracts comply with business requirements.
Support supply chain teams with negotiations, agreements, and contract amendments.
Govern cost reduction initiatives to ensure successful execution.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Supply Chain, or equivalent.
4-8 years of relevant professional experience.
Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or program management in a commercial role is an asset.
Strong negotiation and project management skills.
Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to deadlines.
Recognized team player with leadership and innovation skills.
Fluent in French and English (spoken and written).
Strong operations and financial management capabilities.
Comfortable with technical topics and contract interpretation.
Knowledge of JIT logistics, integrated supply chains, and lean manufacturing.
Proficient in MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
