Immigration Specialist/Spécialiste de l'immigration
Job Description
Within the Human Resources Department, you will be responsible for internalizing and structuring immigration processes for the international recruitment needs of the Business Units. The main responsibilities will be as follows:
- Legal advice within the organization regarding professional immigration regulations
- Monitoring the immigration files of foreign employees (LMIA; CAQ; T52, young professionals, etc.)
- Developing an immigration strategy for international recruitment
- Participating in Quebec Days abroad
- Responding to inspections when necessary
- Developing and strengthening relationships with provincial and federal entities as well as with foreign embassies for the follow-up of ongoing files.
Au sein de la Direction des Ressources Humaines, vous serez en charge d'internaliser et de structurer les process immigration pour les besoins de recrutement internationaux des Business Unit. Les missions principales seront les suivantes :
- Conseil juridique au sein de la structure concernant la réglementation en immigration professionnelle
- Suivre les dossiers d'immigration des employés étrangers (EIMT; CAQ; T52, jeunes professionnels, etc.)
- Élaborer une stratégie en immigration pour le recrutement à l'international.
- Participer aux Journées Québec à l'étranger.
- Réponses aux inspections le cas échéant.
- Développer et renforcer les relations avec les entités provinciales et fédérales ainsi qu'avec les ambassades étrangères pour le suivi des dossiers en cours.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in the field
- Bilingual in French and English
- Ability to implement and make decisions
- Minimum bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of U.S. immigration regulations is a plus
- Au moins 3 ans d'expérience dans le domaine
- Bilingue français-anglais
- Capacité à mettre en place et prendre des décisions
- Niveau baccalauréat minimum
- Une connaissance de la réglementation américaine en immigration est un plus
