As a calibration engineer, you will be assigning the target parameters of mechatronics systems, starting from given functional specifications. You will be running system simulations, verifying the model compliance with the requirements, and testing on benches to optimise the algorithms. You will be providing technical documentation of any test procedure and calibration function developed.
Responsabilities and Duties
- Focus on technical specifications, hardware interfaces and electrical schematic of a mechatronic system
- Perform simulations based on the existing mathematical models
- Lead test bench activities for supporting the calibration process
- Refine and optimise an available calibration procedure, such as develop a new calibration procedure
- Perform dataset analysis and provide technical reports
- Steering the supplier managing
- Manage tuning activities with the suppliers, owner of the SW. Push requests to make available all controlling parameters of the system
