Functional Safety Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Functional Safety Engineer!

To thrive in this role you need to be able to actively engage in functional safety activities within your team and organization. Your role spans over different levels such as, contributing in concept phase working with Hazar Analysis and Risk Assessment (HARA), Functional Safety Concepts (FSC, FSR), as well as participating in the design phase with Technical Safety Concepts (TSC, TSR). The role also requires you to interact with stakeholders such as system designers, function owners and test teams to ensure that all the related safety requiremetns have identified, implementerd and tested based on the V-model.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Computer science/ engineering, electrical engineer or similar
Experience working with safety-related software/ system development or test in the automotive industry
Experience working with requirement management tools such as SystemWeaver, Polarion Elektra, or similar
Knowledge of working with the functional safety standard ISO26262
Knowledge of FMEA, DFMEA, FTA
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent English skills (speaking, reading, writing)

Meritorious:

Master of Science in Computer science/ engineering, electrical engineering or similar
SAFe certification
Knowledge of ISO21448
Swedish language skills!
