Business Unit Manager - Aerospace
Job Description
Segula Technologies is looking for its future Aerospace Business Unit Manager who will be responsible for expanding our Aerospace activity across the US.
The Business Unit Manager will oversee sales operations for time and materials staffing, service centers, and work packages within the Aerospace industry. This role involves acquiring new customers and managing existing accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies to secure new business and manage existing accounts in the Aerospace industry.
- Oversee profit and loss (P&L) responsibilities, including revenue and margin management.
- Understand customer needs to build compelling sales pitches and value propositions.
- Write and cost bids effectively.
- Manage Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
- Provide regular status reports.
- Maintain ongoing customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Build and manage project teams with support from the recruiting department and other resources.
Qualifications
- Expertise in contract management and aerospace client management.
- Collaborate closely with the recruitment team.
- Lead and motivate a team of engineers and technicians.
- Oversee the career development of team members, including training, appraisals, and regular meetings.
- Ensure high levels of customer service.
- Meet project financial targets.
Skills:
- Fluent in English.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Proven sales skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Aerospace industry.
- Willingness to travel.
