Java Developer - Gothenburg

Job Description

In our IT department, you will get to work with complex problem solving of high-tech systems. As a consultant at Segula, you will get to program in Java, build automated CI/CD flows and develop cloud solutions in e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP or similar at one of our customers. We work on assignments with customers or in team deliveries where you get the opportunity to be involved in influencing which assignments you want to take on. If you want to develop, this role is for you!

To fit the role of java developer, we think you are a curious person who is driven by technical problem solving and writing really good code! You have no problem collaborating in a group and take it for granted to share your experiences with colleagues. Giving improvement suggestions for solutions and being consultative to customers is no problem for you.

Qualifications

B.Sc./M.Sc. in computer science, software engineering, electronics or equivalent.
5+ years of experience as software developer using mainly Java
Experience in one or several cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP or similar
Experience with tools such as tools such as Git, Jenkins, Jira, Artifactory.
Experience working with CI/CD pipelines
Experience working with Kubernetes, Docker, REST, JSON.
Experience with SQL and relational databases
Knowledge of software verification and test development, unit test
Experience using techniques for quality assuring software such as unit testing and integration testing
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Valid working permit in Sweden
