Aufgabe
Selection, review of materials for Refinery / Oil and Gas facilities.
Assessment of Service life Corrosion (SLC), Life Cycle Cost analysis (LCC) for Refinery / Oil and Gas projects.
Design and review of Cathodic Protection (CP) systems and Corrosion Monitoring (CM) facilities for Refinery / Oil and Gas projects.
Corrosion Management/Integrity assessment of Refinery / Oil and Gas projects
Review of Intelligent Pigging (IP) and engineering assessment of identified pipeline defects.
Selection and performance evaluation of corrosion inhibitors for oil and gas applications.
Perform corrosion and materials selection studies in accordance with codes and standards used by the client and/or to agreed industry standards
Prepare cathodic protection designs for offshore and onshore facilities, plus internal tank/vessel protection
Assess coating requirements for a variety of exposure conditions, and prepare coating specifications and coating selection reports as required
To co-ordinate corrosion and integrity management activities with other engineering disciplines and client representative as required to meet project requirements
Quality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the BU, etc
Safety – Responsible for personal safety safe working practices for the BU, etc. Understand and follow OH&S procedures.
