Job Description
SEGULA Technologies is seeking an experienced Overhead Contact System (OCS) Construction Manager for a major High-Speed Rail infrastructure project in Abu Dhabi.
The successful candidate will lead and oversee all OCS construction and installation activities, ensuring compliance with railway electrification standards, technical specifications, HSE requirements, project schedules and quality objectives.
The position requires strong technical expertise in railway overhead electrification systems and proven experience managing OCS installation works on major railway projects, preferably High-Speed Rail.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the construction and installation of railway Overhead Contact Systems (OCS).
Plan and supervise OCS activities including foundations, support structures, masts, cantilevers, contact wires, messenger wires, tensioning systems and associated components.
Develop construction methodologies, installation sequencing and work execution plans.
Coordinate OCS installation activities across multiple construction fronts.
Manage construction supervisors, engineers, technicians, specialist installation teams and subcontractors.
Ensure correct installation geometry, alignment, wire height, stagger and mechanical tension in accordance with approved design requirements.
Coordinate interfaces between OCS, track works, civil engineering, structures, electrical power supply and railway systems.
Monitor installation progress, construction productivity, equipment utilization and resource allocation.
Verify compliance with technical drawings, method statements, inspection and test plans and quality requirements.
Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning readiness and energization support activities.
Ensure strict implementation of electrical safety, working-at-height and construction HSE procedures.
Identify construction risks, technical issues and potential delays and implement corrective actions.
Support procurement planning, material availability, construction logistics and subcontractor coordination.
Prepare progress reports and technical updates for senior project management.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Railway Engineering or a related technical discipline.
Extensive professional experience in railway electrification and OCS construction.
Proven experience as an OCS Construction Manager, OCS Installation Manager, Electrification Construction Manager or equivalent.
Mandatory: Direct experience managing OCS installation and construction works on major railway infrastructure projects.
Strong technical understanding of 25 kV AC overhead electrification systems.
Knowledge of OCS components, installation tolerances, tensioning, registration and system interfaces.
Demonstrated experience managing subcontractors, specialist OCS installation teams and construction resources.
Experience coordinating OCS works with track, structures, power supply and railway systems.
Good knowledge of railway construction HSE, quality assurance and testing procedures.
High-Speed Rail project experience is strongly preferred.
Middle East or other international major railway project experience is an advantage.
Professional fluency in English is mandatory.
Mandatory Experience
Apply only if you have proven experience in OCS / Overhead Line Equipment (OLE) construction and installation management on major electrified railway projects, preferably High-Speed Rail (HSR).
Candidates with experience exclusively in electrical substations, building MEP, transmission lines or general electrical infrastructure without railway OCS/OLE construction experience will not meet the mandatory requirements.
