Aufgabe
In this job, you will join the Data Solutions and Products team, part of Cloud Platform and Data at our customers site. The team designs, develops, operates, and continuously improves European vehicle data platforms and data services.
The solutions they build support internal vehicle data services—including data query and analytics, ADAS dashboards, battery health reporting, regulatory reporting, and ML/AI pipelines—as well as external B2B data services that securely expose vehicle data to customers and partners. In addition, the team is responsible for data product operations, data platform maintenance, data quality monitoring, access management, data governance, compliance, cost optimization, and the operation of global data products adapted for the European market.
As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and operating business-owned data products on the company’s existing data platform. While the IT team manages the underlying platform infrastructure, you will focus on data pipelines, data warehouse development, data governance, data quality, operational monitoring, and infrastructure automation across different cloud environments.
Profil
Experience: 3–5 years of experience in data engineering, data warehouse development, data management, or data product operations.
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Programming & SQL: Practical experience with SQL and working knowledge of Python and/or PySpark.
Core Data Concepts: Good understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, ETL/ELT, and data quality management.
Pipelines & IaC: Experience developing and maintaining batch or streaming data pipelines. Experience using Infrastructure as Code (preferably Terraform) for resource provisioning, configuration, and environment management.
Governance & Monitoring: Understanding of data governance, data access management, data lineage, privacy, and data retention. Practical experience with data monitoring, pipeline troubleshooting, and production support.
Tooling: Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
Language: Professional fluency in English (spoken and written).
