Responsibilities:- Read and interpret route sheets, drawings, Shop Instruction Sheet (SIS), Weld
- Procedure Specifications (WPS), weld and rod cards.
- Plan and organize the RT/UT welding process.
- Identify and verify work piece material.
- Communicate with the team members and shop foreman.
- Perform basic fitting to a pre-established layout.
- Work in a safe manner, demonstrating good workmanship and practices.
Profil
Secondary vocational diploma / Technical secondary certificate (Świadectwo / Diplomă de Bacalaureat)
Minimum 5 years of manual welding experience in heavy manufacturing, pressure equipment, shipbuilding, or energy sectors certified under European norms (EN ISO 9606-1, PED 2014/68/EU, UDT Poland, or ISCIR Romania).
Proven ability to perform manual welding and repairs to RT/UT quality standards (ISO 5817 Level B quality acceptance criteria) across multiple processes.
Intermediate blueprint reading skills.
Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in awkward positions.
Ability to pass respirator fit-testing if required.
Welding Test Requirements
Position Test: 6G / H-L045 position (ISO 6947) using 2 ¾" OD carbon steel pipe with 0.625" wall thickness.
Root Pass: GTAW/Process 141 (TIG) process (visual inspection).
Fill and Cap: SMAW/Process 111 (MMAW/Stick) (visual and RT inspection).
Work Schedules
Day Shift: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Afternoon Shift: Monday–Thursday, 4:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m.
Weekend Day Shift: Friday–Sunday, 6:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (Paid for 40 hours)
Weekend Afternoon Shift: Friday-Sunday, 5:00 p.m. - 4:00 a.m.
