We are recruiting an experienced Accountant for a UAE-based Defence & Aerospace / Industrial organisation.
Job Description
The Accountant will support day-to-day bookkeeping, banking transactions, reconciliations and financial administration.
Responsibilities
- Perform general bookkeeping.
- Record financial transactions.
- Complete bank reconciliations.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable.
- Process and track bank transfers.
- Support SWIFT transactions where required.
- Coordinate with correspondent banks where necessary.
- Maintain accounting records within Odoo.
- Assist with month-end closing.
- Prepare supporting financial schedules.
- Support internal and external audit requirements.
- Maintain accurate and complete financial documentation.
Profil
Qualifications
- Proven accounting experience.
- Strong bookkeeping skills.
- Strong bank-reconciliation experience.
- Experience with payment and bank-transfer processing.
- SWIFT/correspondent banking exposure advantageous.
- Odoo Finance or equivalent accounting-system experience.
- High level of accounting accuracy.
- Good English communication skills.
