Aufgabe
Lead the mapping and optimization of logistics master data in SAP, conducting hands-on field verification (Gemba) to build and implement a robust PFEP (Plan For Every Part) matrix. Your primary goal will be to ensure absolute accuracy and seamless control of material flows between the ERP system and physical plant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- PFEP (Plan For Every Part) Strategy & Architecture
- Data Matrix Design: Design, build, and continually optimize the plant's centralized PFEP matrix to establish a single source of truth for every SKU (Part Number, Description, Supplier, Lead Time, Usage Rates, Packaging, and Storage Location).
- Consumption & Replenishment Logic: Define optimal material delivery strategies (e.g., Kanban, Milk Runs, Just-In-Time, Kitting) based on part consumption rates, physical dimensions, and production line requirements.
- Continuous Maintenance: Establish auditing protocols to ensure the PFEP database automatically adapts to engineering changes (ECOs), production line reconfigurations, or supplier modifications.
- System Mapping: Configure, audit, and sanitize critical logistics master data within SAP (MM/WM/PP modules), including Material Masters, Storage Types, Bin Locations, and Bill of Materials (BOM) logistics data.
- Discrepancy Remediation: Investigate root causes behind discrepancies between SAP system status and physical shop-floor inventory, implementing systemic corrections to prevent recurrence.
- Process Alignment: Ensure parameters like Safety Stock levels, Reorder Points, and Standard Pack Quantities (SNP) in SAP match real-world floor capacities and transit times.
- Shop-Floor Auditing: Routinely conduct structured Gemba walks across warehouses, receiving docks, and assembly lines to validate that physical layouts mirror digital routing.
- Packaging & Container Validation: Measure and document physical container dimensions, dunnage types, stackability, and unit loads to optimize space utilization in racks and lineside storage.
- Supplier & Receiving Verification: Audit incoming supplier packaging compliance against plant standards to streamline the unloading, staging, and put-away processes.
- Lineside Logistics: Partner with Manufacturing and Ergonomics teams to design lean lineside presentation (racks, flow racks, gravity feeders) that minimizes operator travel distance and handling time.
- Internal Warehousing: Define efficient binning, slotting, and picking routes inside the main warehouse based on velocity analysis (ABC classification).
- Throughput Bottleneck Elimination: Identify handling friction points from receiving through production feeding, introducing lean tools (5S, Visual Management) to streamline material velocity.
Profil
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in plant logistics, warehouse management, or packaging/materials engineering.
Technical Skills:
Solid proficiency in SAP ERP (MM, WM, and/or PP modules).- In-depth understanding of material management methodologies and Lean manufacturing (specifically PFEP).
- Software Tools: Advanced Excel (Pivot tables, complex formulas, cross-referencing datasets; VBA/Macros proficiency is a plus).
- Key Competencies: High attention to detail, analytical mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and a hands-on shop-floor focus.
