Aufgabe

SEGULA Technologies is supporting a major utility-scale energy infrastructure project in Uzbekistan and is seeking experienced professionals to join a multidisciplinary project team.

The project environment involves complex energy infrastructure, including Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), electrical substations, high-voltage systems, civil works, mechanical systems, automation and SCADA interfaces, construction supervision, quality management, HSE, logistics, and project controls.

We are looking for experienced professionals capable of working within a multicultural EPC project environment and coordinating effectively with contractors, engineering teams, suppliers, and project stakeholders.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Document Controller to manage project documentation and information workflows for a major energy infrastructure project in Uzbekistan.

The role requires strong expertise in electronic document management systems, revision control, engineering documentation, transmittals, review workflows, and final handover documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish, maintain, and administer the project document control system.
  • Ensure full traceability, accessibility, security, and retention of project records.
  • Implement document numbering, naming conventions, revision control, and document management procedures.
  • Administer EDMS platforms such as Aconex, SharePoint, or equivalent systems.
  • Coordinate document workflows and approval cycles among project teams, EPC contractors, OEMs, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Receive, register, classify, distribute, and archive technical and administrative documentation.
  • Manage drawings, specifications, calculations, reports, RFIs, NCRs, correspondence, and transmittals.
  • Ensure only the latest approved and Issued for Construction documents are available for use.
  • Monitor review cycles, approvals, comments, and overdue actions.
  • Manage transmittals, acknowledgements, document status tracking, and distribution matrices.
  • Control redline mark-ups and as-built documentation.
  • Prepare document control KPIs and periodic status reports.
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Coordinate final handover documentation, including as-built drawings, QA/QC dossiers, test records, certificates, and O&M manuals.

Profil

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Information Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of document control experience on industrial, power generation, transmission, renewable energy, or major EPC construction projects.
  • Proven experience managing documentation for major energy infrastructure projects; exposure to BESS, substations, or power plants is highly desirable.
  • Advanced knowledge of Aconex, SharePoint, EDMS, or comparable platforms.
  • Professional proficiency in English.
