Missão

We are looking for a Production Equipment Operator to support an industrial manufacturing operation using automated and semi-automated production equipment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating production machinery, monitoring process parameters and ensuring safe and efficient production in accordance with established procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Operate automated and semi-automated production equipment.
  • Perform equipment start-up and shutdown activities.
  • Monitor machine operation through HMI/operator control panels.
  • Monitor key production parameters including temperature, pressure, cycle time and raw material feed.
  • Identify basic equipment deviations, alarms, defects and malfunctions.
  • Escalate equipment or product-quality issues to maintenance personnel and supervisors.
  • Perform daily equipment inspections.
  • Carry out basic routine maintenance activities within the operator's scope.
  • Support equipment changeovers when required.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
  • Follow production instructions, process sheets and production assignments.
  • Comply with all EHS requirements, particularly when working around pressurized equipment, steam and hot surfaces.

Perfil

Qualifications

  • Technical diploma or vocational qualification in mechanics, industrial equipment, automation or a related technical discipline preferred.
  • Previous experience operating industrial production equipment preferred.
  • Ability to operate and monitor equipment using HMI/operator panels.
  • Ability to understand and respond appropriately to alarm messages.
  • Basic understanding of industrial equipment and production processes.
  • Ability to identify basic product-quality and machine-performance deviations.
  • Strong attention to safety and production procedures.
  • Willingness to work within a shift-based manufacturing environment.
