HW&FW ELECTRONIC DESIGN

Job Description

We are looking for a HW&FW Electronic Design to join our team and support an important customer operating in the Rail field. Activity focus:

Carry out the HW design for electronic boards and modules, describing the technical issues and verifying, through analysis (calculations, models, simulations or mock-ups), compliance with the failure evidences.
Modify the electrical scheme of the boards, creating a new revision of the project in Mentor Boardstation or Xpedition (or specifies it to be developed).
Specify the requirements and constrains for the PCB Designer (if necessary a re-design).
Verify and validate, for the components used in the design, the F&S (Fire & Smoke) and Ecodesign constraints (EN45545, REACH).
Manages the modification of the Technical Specifications and the follow-up for outsourced development (COS Component on Specification).
Design and implement the FW/SW for HW component tests – or specifies the software to be developed by the FW/SW designer.
Update the current EBOM in AS400, after issues resolution.
Specify the "impact analysis" for the design modifications.
Support for HW validation engineer and product type testing (if necessary).
Apply processes and railway standards (EN50155, EN50657).

Qualifications

Master’s degree in electronic engineering.
High Risk Training Certificate;
Electric Risk as Expert person (PES) Certificate.
Knowledge of the C/C++ programming language.
Knowledge in high and low level driver development.
Knowledge of the Linux operating system as a developer (device drivers, kernel modifications and recompilation, etc.)
Knowledge of international regulations (EN50155; EN45545, EN50657, MIL-HDBK 217F, IEC62380 and IEC61709).
Presence in SES Site is required for the investigation activities and laboratory tests (> 90% of the total time). Updating project documentation can be carried out remotely.
Required domicile (or availability to relocate) in the Milan hinterland as the activity will be carried out on site
