Technical Document Engineer in Air Pollution Control
Job Description
We are actively looking for a Technical Document Engineer who will join our team in supporting an important client operating in the Air Pollution Control sector.
You will be responsible for drafting CE manuals and user and maintenance manuals for products and projects. The main objective is to ensure that all technical documentation is complete, accurate, compliant with current regulations and easily understandable for end users. The position requires high attention to detail, excellent communication skills and a solid understanding of CE regulations and technical writing practices.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Drafting and updating of CE manuals and user and maintenance/troubleshooting manuals products and projects
- Ensure that all technical documentation complies with CE regulations and company standards.
- Collaborate with the Engineering, Production and Quality team (internal and possibly external) to collect and verify the necessary technical information regarding the project life cycle (installation, commissioning, decommissioning) and safety.
- Manage the review and approval of technical documentation in collaboration with project managers and other stakeholders.
- Maintain an organized archive of all technical documentation produced.
Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of CE regulations, PED directives, AtEX and guidelines for the drafting of technical documentation
- Previous experience in drafting technical manuals, preferably in an industrial environment
- Advanced IT skills, including familiarity with technical drafting and document management software
- Excellent knowledge of Italian and English, both written and spoken
- Good technical writing and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work precisely and meticulously
