Hardware-test Battery
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Hardware-Test Engineer specialized in Energy Storage Systems to join our dynamic team. We are on the lookout for an individual with a robust educational background and extensive hands-on experience in the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will have minimum of 10 years of experience in the automotive industry were at least 4 years of this experience should have been focused on energy storage systems, particularly high-voltage traction batteries.
Qualifications
- B.Sc. and/or M.Sc. degree in engineering, preferably in Electrical, Power Electronics, Mechatronics, or an equivalent field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the automotive industry, with at least 4 years focused on energy storage systems, particularly high-voltage traction batteries.
- Hands-on experience with battery hardware (HW) testing
- Experience of Test planning, Test design (test method development), Creation of Design Verification Matrices (DVMs), Conducting battery tests in both rig and vehicle environments, Collecting and analyzing test data, Preparing comprehensive test reports
- Experience in Test execution/evaluation (thermal/electrical performance, legal/certification tests, PIL support (Failures observed on the field), functional verification, durability test)
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Matlab, and the use of Vector Tools for data analysis and visualization.
- Strong knowledge of measurement technology and equipment used in battery testing, including but not limited to multimeters and data acquisition systems
- Excellent communication and cooperation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
Meritorious:
- Experience from Electromobility
- Experience from commercial vehicle or automotive product development, DVP(Develop Product and Aftermarket Product Portfolio)
- Experience in AVL testing environments for battery packs
- Truck/bus driving license
- Experience in battery testing in vehicle environment
- Alpha testing support
- Support for PIL’s (Failures observed on the field)
- Support for Benchmarking (Ex: e-Actros tests)
- Special tests (Improvement of functions both SW & HW)
- Support for Reliability tests (hot & cold) in vehicle
- Swedish language skills! (written and spoken)
