Expression of Interest - Software Engineer/Developer

Job Description

Triaging issues, debugging, developing fixes, testing, and reviewing the fixes for software support, that includes 2D/3D tool inspection features and UI experience improvement, geometry feasibility analysis and report, code improvement, grinding process review.
Software development using tools like C++, Java, JavaFX, GIT, C++, C#, Python etc.
Interpretation of actual grinding tool to 2D and 3D geometry into machine part program.
Develop features for UI for CNC machine.
Involved in scoping and proof of concept for feature designing.
Investigate, diagnose, and resolve software bugs.
Collaborate with the development team to implement software improvements and new features.
Utilize CI/CD technologies to manage and streamline the software development process.
Conduct unit testing and participate in peer reviews to maintain a high level of code quality and consistency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for software performance optimization and enhancement.
Assist with the creation and maintenance of technical documentation for software applications and processes.
Provide technical support to end-users and address any issues related to software functionality and performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Familiarity with software tools like Java, C++, C#, Python, GitHub, GitLab etc.
Strong experience in the field of Industrial Machinery, Automation, or Mechatronics.
Knowledge or exposure in PLC programming are highly beneficial.
